ABOUT US
The Mandeville New Testament Church of God continues to impact the lives of its members and the community in several different ways. the outreach programmes of the church is always exploring innovative ways that will help improve lives spiritually, socially, financially, educationally, emotionally and pyscologically.
These are the arms of our Benevolence Ministry:
ADORN
To distribute items of clothing to people in need within the church and the surrounding community.
EMPOWERMENT MINISTRY
To provide counselling for persons to describe their feelings and problems, work through their challenges & issues, and empower them to reach decisions and take actions based on informed choices.
C.U.R.E FUND
To Provide financial support for basic needs, rent, utility bills, medical fees & medications, tuition fees, lunch & transportation for school.
FEEDING TREE
To feed at least 30 homeless persons twice per month. We minister to these persons four (4) Sundays per month.
KARE MINISTRY
To provide Back-to-School supplies for students, including stationery, note & text books & bags. We also work in association with the Medical Ministry to provide free back to school medical for students.
MANNA HOUSE
To Provide food packages to needy households on a monthly basis. We do ministry every 3rd Monday from 10am to 1pm. We distribute 80 – 100 packages each month.
SCHOLARSHIP(MAVIS REID AND SYLVESTINE AND RONALD POWELL
To partially assist students studying at primary, secondary and tertiary levels of education. We seek to help at least 10 students each year.
GOVERNMENT INFORMATION CENTRE(GIC)
To provide useful and beneficial information concerning the different types of Government benefits. For example – NHT, NHF, PATH etc.
